Dance as Joy
Dance as Joy explores dance as play, expression, grief, connection, presence. Classes and workshops emphasize building confidence, honoring our bodies’ needs, and learning about dance, language and culture from around the world. Making connections helps us create respectful community and find the joy in movement.
Indian Dance
Explore the roots and evolution of dance forms in a global cultural context. Bharatanatyam, folk dance, yoga and contemporary styles (like “Bollywood”). We use choreography as a tool for learning and expression. Classes can be adapted to all ages and levels.
Dance & Meditation
Move, breathe, laugh, stretch, cry, release. We draw from multiple dance forms to find the movement (or stillness) our bodies need in the moment. Practice intention setting and honoring boundaries.
